Minimising Impact

During construction, the contractors will meet and exceed the highest standards of the Considerate Constructors Scheme:

- Site offices will be located at the junction of Endell Street and Long Acre and on gantries at the corner of Shelton Street and Endell Street and on Long Acre. Following the slab construction, a site and welfare office may be erected in the proposed public space or courtyard area;

- The construction site will be accessed from High Holborn in the north via Endell Street, and from the south, via Bow Street. Egress or construction traffic leaving the site will exit from Arne Street onto Long Acre and south to Bow Street and Russell Street onto Kingsway.

Programme

We anticipate submitting the planning application at the end of October 2014 with a view to securing planning consent in the first half of 2015. A three-year construction programme is envisaged for the completion of the redevelopment.
